Study Shortcut is a passionate education provider, with one speciality – the CPA Program. The Study Shortcut team are professional accountants, who have themselves completed the CPA Program. 

Our Founder, Catherine Langley, achieved outstanding results in her CPA and has leveraged her learnings to create Study Shortcut. 

Study Shortcut’s focus is on helping CPA candidates achieve the CPA designation in the most efficient and timely manner – enabling you to balance your work, life and study commitments!

Welcome to the CPA community! It is a great idea to plan out your CPA Program from the beginning. We’ve written an article on this topic that you may find useful. You can find it here. 

Yes! Study Shortcut is designed to be as flexible as possible and responsive to your needs. If you find yourself needing more support during semester, or assistance in a particular area, please contact us at [email protected] to discuss your requirements.

If you aren’t able to complete the subject you’ve enrolled in for the semester, you’re able to extend your enrolment for an administrative fee of $30 per semester. You are able to extend access for up to two semesters after your initial enrolment. You can rest assured that Study Shortcut will be with you every step of the way to your CPA designation.

We offer a range of materials based on the package that you choose for the semester. You can see the specifics of the study materials and the format in which they are provided here. We also have an example of our Summary Notes and online learning platform here.

Your Javelin PDF of the Summary Notes requires a free download of Javelin3 Reader to access. The Summary Notes are opened using a unique code provided upon enrolment. Once you have validated your access, the Notes are available offline.

You can access the Summary Notes on two different devices.

Access to the Summary Notes will last for the duration of the semester, and can be extended if you defer or fail your exam.

The Summary Notes can also be printed to a hardcopy (maximum of two copies).

The file cannot be printed to or converted to Adobe PDF.

Currently, Study Shortcut is focused on the CPA core subjects (Ethics & Governance, Strategic Management Accounting, Financial Reporting and Global Strategy & Leadership). 

We also have materials available for the most popular electives, Advanced Audit & Assurance and Australia Taxation.
